Rise & Shine

Good morning, honey!
The Rise & Shine blend brewed fresh from home takes morning grunts and grumbles and shapes them into coherent words and lovely phrases like “What a beautiful day!” or “Good morning, honey.” This signature brew is a favorite morning staple that pairs perfectly with any breakfast on the go.

The simplest brew ever

Drop a bag in a cup of hot water or milk. The flavor intensity can be dialed up or down depending on the amount of liquid added.
Craving cold brew? Steep the bag in water overnight in the fridge. Prefer creamy? Replace hot water with any type of milk.
For the best flavor extraction, we recommend steep the bag for 5 mins and dunk it a few times to release the full flavor.

Coffee First, Toast & Eggs Second

Responsibly Sourced

Responsibly Sourced

Our energy boosting Rise and Shine blend is made up of 3 different styles of coffee beans. The first coffee is from Cruz Alta Farm, chosen for its hazelnut and walnut notes. The owner of Cruz Alta farm is Enison Lopes Ferreira, a third generation coffee farmer in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil. The farm is known for their environmentally friendly practices, such as organic fertilization.

Sourced from the Fairtrade organic certified Cooperative Rio Azul in Guatemala our second coffee comes harvested primarily by the indigenous population in Jacaltenango. The cooperative is known to produce a very sweet coffee with notes of peach, stone fruit and raisins. Members of the cooperative handpick and select the coffee to guarantee the highest standards of quality.

Lastly, we use the coffee from Cafe Organico Marcala (COMSA) cooperative in Honduras. Known as pioneers of organic and biodynamic farming, the cooperative produces a sweet and chocolatey cup. All of their coffees are organic and Fairtrade certified.

Beans to Bags

We source high quality, specialty grade Arabica coffee beans and roast them in small batches at our lab. We use Ditting 1800 to create the perfect and consistent grind size to achieve the best flavors for taste and preservation.
The coffee grind is then packaged into the coffee brew bag (100% biodegradable, made with corn), which provides full immersion to extract the best flavor & aroma without sacrificing the environment. The bag is then heat sealed, no glue is used in the process.
